WORKERS' COMPENSATION, CRIMINAL DEFENSE
Jamie joined SeiferFlatow, PLLC as a partner in 2015 and expanded the firm’s practice to include Family Law. The addition of a family law practice area came from the demands of many former clients and inquiries from prospective clients. People dealing with complicated legal issues wanted honest, competent, and experienced representation to help navigate the pitfalls and difficulties that exist when the family unit is challenged by issues like separation, divorce, custody, and post-separation support.
Jamie considers himself a skilled problem solver, who thinks outside of the box and approaches cases with the knowledge, responsiveness, and ability to instill confidence in the clients he serves. Whether in the courtroom or at the negotiation table, Jamie brings the skills necessary to achieve success. Jamie has built the Family Law practice to approach each case with a singular focus on problem-solving, whether it is through negotiation or trial.
As a trained trial attorney, Jamie is no stranger to the courtroom and zealously defends his clients as they face some of the most challenging decisions and obstacles of their lives. He knows each case is unique and presents its own special challenges. Jamie’s solution-oriented approach makes those special challenges easier to face.
"Family Law impacts nearly all aspects of a client’s life. When divorce is imminent, life as you know it inevitably changes. Your finances, your relationship with your children, your ability to regroup and move forward with your standard of life are all in a state of disarray. I approach each case with compassionate understanding and a sincere focus to reduce the stress and hardship divorce or custody disputes may cause. I always seek to identify individual client’s needs to move onto a better chapter of his or her life."
