ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY
Megan Kahane joined SeiferFlatow in 2023 with a practice focus on Family Law. She received her undergraduate degree in accounting from the State University of New York at Old Westbury and graduated from the University of North Carolina School of Law in 2022. After graduating, she moved from Chapel Hill to Charlotte where she was admitted to the North Carolina Bar.
In law school, Megan dedicated more than 1,100 to pro bono work, including serving as a court-appointed Guardian ad Litem and volunteering with the Orange County Teen Court program. During internships at two district attorneys’ offices, Megan worked with victims and survivors of domestic violence.
She participated in UNC School of Law’s Domestic and Sexual Violence Clinic where she represented clients seeking domestic violence protection orders. Additionally, she interned at the United States Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of North Carolina.
Megan understands that each client’s situation is unique, and she is committed to serving as a fierce and compassionate advocate for all of her clients. Megan is committed to practicing empathy with every client to ensure that they feel that their concerns are heard and their needs are met.
Megan's experience also allows her to support the firm's complex Criminal Defense cases.
